S Company is pleased to accompany Vietnamese artist Ngo Chau Anh as she represents Vietnam at Echo of Nomads 2026, an international ethnic music competition held in Kyrgyzstan from 1–4 September 2026.

Bringing together artists from different countries and cultural backgrounds, Echo of Nomads celebrates the diversity of traditional music, national identity and contemporary interpretations of cultural heritage. The competition is part of the cultural program surrounding the VI World Nomad Games 2026, creating an international platform where artists can share the distinctive musical traditions of their countries.

Representing Vietnam: Ngo Chau Anh

Ngo Chau Anh is a young Vietnamese artist currently studying two majors — Vocal Music and Bamboo Flute — in the Talented Program at the Vietnam National Academy of Music.

Her artistic direction combines vocal performance with one of Vietnam’s most recognizable traditional instruments, the bamboo flute. This combination enables her to present Vietnamese music through both traditional cultural identity and a contemporary performance perspective.

Throughout her artistic journey, Chau Anh has participated in numerous cultural and international exchange programs in Vietnam and abroad, including performances and cultural activities in Myanmar, Qatar, Laos, Germany, the Czech Republic, Austria, Switzerland, Australia, Russia and the United States.

In 2026, she also participated in a Vietnam–US cultural exchange program in Dallas, Texas, as well as cultural activities at the Algur H. Meadows School of the Arts.

Chau Anh has additionally taken part in meaningful national cultural programs, including performances during visits to the Truong Sa island clusters and DK1 Platform, where she was recognized for her contribution to activities promoting awareness of Vietnam’s maritime and island heritage.

Bringing Vietnamese Cultural Identity to the International Stage

At Echo of Nomads 2026, Ngo Chau Anh will bring to the international stage a musical identity rooted in Vietnamese culture.

Through the combination of vocal music and bamboo flute, her participation represents more than an individual performance. It is an opportunity to introduce international audiences to the sounds, traditions and contemporary spirit of Vietnamese music.

The bamboo flute has long held an important place in Vietnamese folk culture. Its simple form and distinctive sound are closely associated with the landscape, traditions and everyday life of Vietnam. Combined with Chau Anh’s vocal training, it becomes an expressive bridge between heritage and modern artistic interpretation.
